How to Turn Up Your Supply
Undersupply is one of the most common worries during breastfeeding. Luckily for you, it's mostly about supply & demand—with a dash of intuition.
Worrying about if you have enough breastmilk is an incredibly common occurrence. Chances are, the answer is yes. If your baby is growing and having enough wet diapers, you are likely in good shape. That said, the best thing to do is call a lactation consultant if you are concerned—even if it is to be told your supply is enough. If you do need to up your supply, this can be an easy fix with added skin-to-skin snuggles and additional feedings (supply & demand!). That said, there are plenty of ways to supplement while continuing your breastfeeding journey if that's your goal.
